Christmas Banner

Yesterday at homeschool group at the library, we saw our friend Dana cutting out and gluing scrapbook paper onto a chipboard "Christmas" banner.  She told us she'd gotten it at Hobby Lobby just that morning, and that it was on sale for half-price.  We had already planned to go to Hobby Lobby after homeschool group anyway, and now we had another item to look for.  Katie had been helping Dana do the banner at the library and wanted to do one for herself.  She found it - there were only two left at this point - and she and mom picked out some paper to glue onto it.

As soon as we got home, she started tracing, cutting and gluing.  Before long, it was done.  It now holds a place above our piano in the dining room.
