A poet in the making?

Well, our talks went well today. I took far less time speaking than I thought I would. I had several comments on my poem that I quoted in my talk. Kerry even suggested that I send it in to the Ensign - one of our church magazines. That might be really cool! As it is, I've got one poem entered into a poetry contest that is also being published in a poetry anthology currently entitled "Immortal Verses". They send me e-mails offering to let me buy the book for myself. Doesn't it make more sense to let the poets have their own copy for free? Or something like that? The asking price is, regrettably, far more expensive than I can afford.

Well, Thanksgiving is almost here, and less than a month after that... CHRISTMAS!!!!! Is anyone else as excited as I am?
