Well, I'm hoping the challenge that Dana set us in writing class will help me get back into the act of writing again. I haven't done much work on my novel since before Christmas - actually, since October; November was NaNoWriMo and after that Christmas was coming, so work on my novel got pushed out of my mind for a while. Never go that long without writing. It takes forever to get back in the groove. 5,000 words in two weeks and I don't even have 700. Patrick and Michael are in the thousands word count - which just proves that they're awesome. (Speaking of which, Dana; how much have you written? :-D ) So I need to push it!
We got to learn how to solder in our ham radio class today! That was fun. Scary at first, but fun. So we now have most of our capacitors soldered onto our circuit boards. Everyone who didn't get to come today missed out on all the fun. But in a way that was a good thing, because there were only two soldering stations and three radio kits to be built, plus one that hadn't been fully inventoried yet. Can't wait to keep building! I should have soldering in a story somewhere.
Hey Mary, Does word count on blogs or facebook count for me? ;P Sounds like you guys got quite a bit done yesterday. That's great! I look forward to catching up in ham radio, i just couldn't do a two hour class yesterday, my ear and throat and body just weren't feeling good. I am feeling a good deal better today. I guess 24 hrs of antibiotics helps. :) I'm cheering for you mary = Write Mary write, You can do it! :)
