Our homeschooling group had a day at the library for games or just hanging out. I went on the internet and then looked for books, bringing home a large stack - though I suppose "large" is relative in my case; several books were big, thick books, one of which was an ACT prep book - a necessary item for me to get ready for college.
We stopped by Kroger on the way home and - it being close to dinnertime - we were hungry and probably ended up buying stuff we normally wouldn't. I got a KitKat bar and a bag of Lay's Sour Cream and Onion potato chips, one of my favorites... unfortunately. I don't know how much I've eaten, not to mention all the dairy I've had this month. No wonder I have a cold.
I was looking through an old page-a-day calender of mine with knitting patterns and found lots of projects I'm really interested in. I started a fingerless mitten pattern that looks great so far! There's a similar pattern farther down the calender of driving gloves, again fingerless but longer so that your hands are kept warm while gripping a cold steering wheel, but leaves the fingers available to press buttons when necessary. I wonder how well these patterns would go on eBay.
